About Abbeyfield Wessex Society

Find out all you need to know about us as a Society and our homes based in Dorset & Hampshire

Welcoming residents into our community

Abbeyfield Wessex Society are a member society of The Abbeyfield Society, a national charity providing houses and homes to older people throughout the UK. Together we are one big family. We run five independent living houses throughout Dorset and Hampshire and welcome residents over the age of fifty five to live with us. Our houses have between eight and twenty five rooms meaning you can choose to live in a smaller house or join a larger community in some of our bigger properties.

Although each house is different they all offer the same high standard of safety, security and service.

As a society we aim to run all of our homes to a high standard offering tranquil, positive, communal environments for residents to enjoy retirement and later life. We encourage all residents to remain as independent as possible and live life to the full.
